Whether you call Keoni's a large cabin or a simple cottage, it is a comfortable and economical home in a stunning location. This 900 square foot, recently-built cabin is nestled in a lush, green valley of tropical vegetation, flowers and fruit, and, it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the shore and Laupahoehoe's beautiful cliff-lined coast. A lot of history has passed by this jewel of a location but today it is quiet and peaceful, with only several other homes and the Laupahoehoe Point Beach Park. It is a one mile walk by trail to the small town of Laupahoehoe. The surrounding region, known as Hamakua, is largely agricultural.

Keoni's is an affordable choice for families with children or small groups of congenial adults. It is furnished for simple living to appeal to travelers and ecotourists who prefer nature to luxuries. The cabin has a spacious lay-out with two rooms in addition to the bath. The large kitchen area has a gas range and refrigerator and is furnished with all the basics you will need.

Two queens, one full, and one twin bed. Indoor bathroom with bathtub, outdoor hot and cold shower. City water. (Hot and cold running water) Solar electric system supplying ample lighting, small appliances and your laptop and other electronics. Free local phone service. Use your card for long-distance. Easy to find and easy access. Surrounded by tropical plants and natural beauty.

Prices and Arrangements

$50.00 per night, minimum 2 night stay or stay just one night for $75.00

$300.00 per week (seven nights).

State of Hawaii 4.16% Sales Tax and 7.25% Room Tax must be added to the rent

To Make a Reservation

First contact us by e-mail, phone or mail to inquire about availability of dates.

If your dates are available, we will let you know and tell you that a deposit of one-half of the rent is required to hold the reservation. We prefer a check in the mail, but you can pay through PayPal.Com, if you prefer.

The balance of the rent and the State Sales and Room tax are due upon your arrival.

90% deposit refunded if cancelled more than 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund for notification 60 to 30 days before arrival. No refund later than 30 days prior to arrival date.
